Millie fulfilled the brief. The cape was dramatic using a combination of red velvet and patterned black lace to great effect. The stand- up collar enhanced the design.
This cape would be a serious piece of kit for any Halloween party!

Red velvet underneath and black lace on top – from Fabric Land in Southampton. Gathered at the top into a stand-up collar, for extra fright power!!
We at Fabric Land would like to thank all the under 16’s for their entries. They were all amazing and May Martin really enjoyed judging them and found coming up with a final winner very difficult. We would like to extend a special thank you to Rebecca Gillett who at only 13 made an amazing cape which we will be featuring on our website soon. We would also like to extend a very special thank you to Holly Trowbridge for her Vampire’s Spider Web Cape. Very Scary!
