Always sew stretch trims onto your garment using a stretch/ballpoint needle and select a narrow zigzag stitch or a three-step stretch stitch on your sewing machine. As you stitch the sequin ribbon down, stretch the garment slightly to ensure the seams can flex and stretch with the wearer’s body without snapping the thread.

Yes, but garments decorated with high-end hardware and reflective foils require extra-gentle care to protect their finishes. Diamante slide buckles, sew-on gems, and metallic sequin motifs can be affected by the heat and friction of standard laundry cycles. We highly recommend hand-washing embellished garments in cool water with a mild, color-safe detergent. If machine washing is absolutely necessary, turn the garment inside out, place it inside a protective mesh laundry bag, select a cold, gentle cycle, and always hang-dry rather than tumble-drying to keep your metallics bright and clear.
