Pinch Pleat tape (75mm wide) creates neat, permanently sewn structural folds for a tailored luxury look. Light breeze or natural fabric tension variations can cause curtain panels to flare outward at the edges, pucker along the side seams, or billow awkwardly. Curtain Penny Weights are small, flat round weights sewn straight into the bottom corner pockets of curtain hems to pull the outer edges straight down. For extra fluid movement on wide windows or lightweight voile installations, continuous Curtain Lead Chain Weight is threaded completely through the bottom hem fold to apply an even, subtle downward pull across the entire span.

The ideal mounting tape depends entirely on whether you are fastening to fabric elements or a rigid surface. Sew-on hook and loop tape (such as our VELCRO® Brand Stick & Sew or 2cm Sew On options) features a pliable, non-adhesive backing designed to be permanently machine-stitched along fabric headers, valance swags, or Roman blind fabric borders. Conversely, Stick-on adhesive tape is engineered with a powerful pressure-sensitive glue backing meant strictly for smooth, rigid surfaces. It should be applied onto wooden pelmets, metal tracking bars, or plastic blind frames to provide a clean anchor point for your fabric panels to mount against.
