Our hand dye sachets are perfect for smaller items, delicate fabrics, and creative tie-dye techniques. Finally, our fabric paint pens allow you to hand-draw, write, and customise textiles directly with precise, permanent detailing.

Dylon dyes are formulated to work beautifully on natural, porous fibres. They will achieve full, vibrant saturation on 100% cotton, linen, and viscose. If you are dyeing blended fabrics (such as poly-cotton mixes), the dye will still take, but it will produce a lighter, more pastel shade depending on the percentage of synthetic fibre in the blend. Please note that pure synthetic materials—including polyester, nylon, acrylic, and highly technical waterproof fabrics—will not absorb these dyes and are not suitable for treatment.

Dylon Machine Dye All-in-1 Pods are incredibly easy and clean to use because they already contain the required salt activator. You simply peel off the lid, place the upright pod directly on top of your damp, unfolded fabrics inside the washing machine drum, and run a full 30°C or 40°C cotton cycle. Once complete, run a second cycle with detergent to wash and lock in the colour. Do not worry about your appliance—the dyeing process is completely safe and will not stain your washing machine. Any trace residue is easily cleared by running a quick, empty maintenance wash with a cup of bleach afterwards.

Our premium fabric paint pens are the ultimate tool for freehand customisation, illustration, and writing directly onto clothing, canvas bags, and home textiles. They are exceptionally popular for customising denim jackets, designing canvas shoes, creating school project displays, and marking children’s clothing. To ensure your custom-painted designs remain completely permanent and wash-resistant, allow the paint to dry fully for several hours, then iron the reverse side of the painted fabric for a few minutes on a medium setting to set the ink. Once heat-sealed, your hand-drawn creations can be safely machine-washed at up to 40°C.
