505 Temporary Fabric Adhesive is an industry-favourite spray glue designed to temporarily bond fabrics together without gumming up your sewing machine needles. It is exceptionally popular for quilting, machine embroidery, and applique, as it eliminates the need for pinning and prevents fabrics from shifting while you sew. Because it is a temporary bond, you can easily reposition your fabric pieces if you make a mistake.

If you have a raw edge that you cannot easily hem, our Fray Stop Glue is the perfect solution. Simply apply a small amount of this specialised liquid adhesive directly to the cut edge of your fabric, ribbon, or trims. Once dry, it locks the fibres together to prevent fraying and unravelling, keeping your project looking neat and professional without any bulky stitches.

We highly recommend using our dedicated Gemstone Glue for attaching diamantes, sequins, and other sparkling embellishments to fabric. Unlike standard hot glue or basic craft glue, gemstone glue dries completely clear, remains flexible so it moves with the garment, and provides a highly secure bond that won’t dull the sparkle of your stones.

This depends entirely on the specific adhesive you choose! Standard liquid Fabric Glue is generally designed to withstand gentle washing once fully cured. However, 505 Temporary Adhesive will eventually wash out or disappear over time, and items bonded with a hot Glue Gun should typically be spot-cleaned or hand-washed very carefully. We always advise checking the specific washing instructions on the back of the packaging before laundering your creations.
