Loose craft pom poms (such as our 2cm white, 2cm metallic, and 3.25cm plain pom poms) are individual fluffy spheres designed to be stitched or glued individually onto crafts, hats, or costumes. Pom pom fringe trims consist of small pom poms woven along a continuous ribbon braid, sold by the metre so you can easily sew a neat decorative border along cushions, blankets, or garment hems.

We stock loose craft pom poms in two popular sizes: 2cm wide (available in clean plain white as well as sparkling metallic shades) and 3.25cm wide (available in bright, colourful plain mixes). These sizes are ideal for accenting knitted bobble hats, adding features to handmade plush toys, or creating fun children’s crafts.

Attaching pom pom fringe is simple! Position the flat woven ribbon header along the raw or finished edge of your fabric, pin or clip it in place, and stitch straight along the centre of the braid using a standard sewing machine foot. For scatter cushions and curtains, you can sandwich the flat ribbon header between your main fabric and lining before stitching for a clean, professional finish.

Yes, items decorated with our pom poms and pom pom trims can generally be gently washed. We recommend turning garments decorated with pom poms inside out and washing on a cool, gentle cycle (30°C) or hand washing. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat can loosen the fibres or damage metallic strands.
