How do safety eyes attach to soft toys?
Safety eyes consist of two parts: the decorative eye post and a locking washer. Insert the post through the front of your knitted, crocheted, or sewn fabric layer before filling the toy with stuffing. Push the plastic washer firmly onto the post from the inside until it clicks securely into place, locking the eye onto the fabric to prevent it from being pulled out.
