Loved the colours of this fabric but it was quite thin for a pair of winter trousers and am thinking of lining them. But otherwise quite pleased and would definitely buy again.

The blackwatch wasn’t as good as the previously ordered black stewart although same suiting range. I found it easily scorched and had an unexpected sheen. Good service and reliable company.

I previously ordered and used the black stewart tartan and was very pleased with it so ordered the black watch but it didn’t feel the same, had a shiny appearance and you have to be very careful not to burn it when ironing. I have been pleased with service and delivery but can’t believe the difference between the two fabrics ordered but in different colours. So top rate first order of the same fabric rather than black watch.

Nice fabric, but don’t try to iron it with anything but a very cool iron, it disintegrates under heat. Otherwise its ok, good to sew with, be aware that just like any other tartan, cut edges fray. I sewed my skirt with french seams and that cured the problem. It hangs lovely, just needs some care when making it up.
