Buy Durable Furniture Restoration & Upholstery Fabrics
Sourcing the right furniture fabrics requires looking beyond beautiful patterns to consider weight, weave tightness, and friction resistance. To make updating your indoor spaces simple, our restoration range is sorted by design application:
Plush Velvets & Chenilles: The perfect choice for bringing a luxurious feel, deep depth of colour, and warmth to sofas and armchairs. These fabrics have a dense pile that is naturally hard-wearing and highly resistant to abrasion.
Robust Woven Canvases & Linen-Looks: Ideal for creating tight, clean lines on modern seating, dining chair pads, and bench cushions. These flat-woven textiles offer superb structural stability and do not stretch out of shape under tension.
Faux Leathers & Vinyls: Excellent for high-traffic environments, bar stools, and family dining spaces. These utility fabrics provide a classic tailored appearance while being completely wipe-clean and stain-resistant.

What is the difference between upholstery fabric and curtain fabric?
The primary difference lies in their density, weight, and structural weave tightness. Upholstery fabric is heavily engineered to withstand repetitive physical friction, pressure, and surface wear; it is often rated using a Martindale rub count to guarantee it won’t thin out or pill over time. Curtain fabric, conversely, is manufactured to be lighter and more flexible so it can drape, fold, and gather gracefully next to a window. Using curtain fabric on a heavily used sofa will rapidly cause the seams to pucker and the fibres to wear away.
